PACTOL is a collection focused on non-cancerous pancreatic diseases requiring specific investigations or management for diagnosis or initiation of treatment.

PACTOL is a collection focused on non-cancerous pancreatic pathology that requires specific exploration or management for diagnosis or the initiation of treatment. Pancreatic pathologies can be classified into malignant, potentially malignant, or benign tumors. These can be solid or cystic. There is an inflammatory condition of the pancreas, which can lead to acute pancreatitis during the acute phase, and if the inflammatory manifestations persist, chronic pancreatitis will develop.

Certain lesions may be at risk of malignancy over time, making it necessary to improve the performance of monitoring and diagnostic tools to better tailor patient care.

This study takes place within the digestive department of the CHU (University Hospital) of Toulouse. It is offered to all patients with pancreatic pathology other than cancer. The objective of this study is to develop diagnostic tools to differentiate between various pancreatic pathologies. This will enable research on different avenues, such as new screening targets, microbiome studies, or other projects developed by clinical or scientific research teams at the French or international level.

The study consists of clinical data from patient follow-up, combined with biological samples (blood, serum, plasma). Clinical data (clinical and radiological signs, treatments) are collected at the time of inclusion.
